Since his departure, Potter has been providing analysis as a pundit on Sky Sports, while speculation about his return to management continues.

Leicester City reportedly pursued him after their relegation last season, but Potter declined the offer.

The Foxes expressed interest again following the sacking of Steve Cooper last month, but ultimately chose Steve Cooper for the position.

Now, Potter is being approached by West Ham and Wolves, according to talkSPORT.

Both teams are facing difficulties this season, with their managerial situations looking precarious.

Julen Loptegui took the helm at West Ham over the summer but has managed to secure only five wins out of 16 matches.

Meanwhile, Gary O’Neil’s start at Wolves has been poor, with just two Wins in 14 Premier League games, the latest being a 4-0 loss to Everton.

Potter, now 49, recently hinted at a return to management during his punditry work for Prime Video this week.

When asked if he was considering new opportunities, Potter responded: “Yes, of course. As I have mentioned previously, I’m open to everything.

“However, I am really enjoying this [punditry] as well.”

“It provides a different perspective; you learn how the media views the game, which is always fascinating.

“Having that alternative view can only improve your understanding, so I’ve been enjoying it.”
