CARLTON (6.30 Chelmsford, nap)

On the verge of achieving a hat-trick of wins. He has shown tremendous improvement since joining the skilled trainer James Owen and has won comfortably over this course and distance in his last two outings. His most recent victory was notably impressive as he did not have the best luck in the race. He stays strong and a 2lb increase in weight is entirely justified.

FOOLS RUSH IN (12.58 Lingfield, nb)

He has returned to his best form in his last two performances, claiming victory at Southwell before finishing close at Wolverhampton. The handicapper has not altered his mark, and he maintains his form over seven furlongs, which has proven crucial to his triumphs.

CARBINE HARVESTER (1.58 Lingfield, treble)

He has been in outstanding shape under William Haggas, winning his last two races without hassle. He particularly shone when easily winning at Southwell 11 days ago, and he’ll be hard to beat carrying a 6lb penalty.

FOREVER PROUD (3.39 Lingfield, Lucky 15)

She has claimed victory in three of her last four races, and a 5lb penalty for her latest win at Wolverhampton won’t hinder her progress. She’s yet another product of the James Owen winning formula who still has more to achieve.
