Transfer News Live: Arteta Expresses Disappointment Over Arsenal’s Window, Joao Felix Departure Confirmed, Manchester United Updates
PSV finalizes Malacia loan
New information is surfacing regarding Tyrell Malacia’s loan transfer to PSV Eindhoven.
The full-back from Manchester United is reported to have completed his loan move to the Dutch club.
It is also said that PSV included a buy-option in the agreement, estimated to be around £8.3m.
If this option is activated, Manchester United will reportedly benefit from a 30% sell-on clause for any future transactions.
Arteta addresses striker concerns
Mikel Arteta expressed confidence in Kai Havertz stepping up for Arsenal this season, despite the absence of attacking additions during the transfer window.
The Gunners manager suggested that his team must adapt and remain flexible moving forward, highlighting players like Ethan Nwaneri and Raheem Sterling as potential key contributors.
We will need to be adaptable in our forward line; our current players must stay fit and effective in their roles.
Raheem (Sterling) has experience in that position, and I believe Ethan (Nwaneri) is capable there as well, along with (Gabriel) Martinelli. We will see how everyone is performing relative to the circumstances and the opponents.
Eventually, I think we will need to explore different strategies.

EXCLUSIVE: Spurs to acquire young talent
Tottenham is poised to sign Irish prodigy Mason Melia.
A £1.6 million deal with add-ons has been agreed with St Patrick’s Athletic for the young forward.
However, due to Brexit regulations, the 17-year-old cannot join the team until the first transfer window following his 18th birthday.
This means Melia will officially be a Spurs player starting January 1, 2026.
He is viewed as one of Ireland’s most promising young talents in recent years.
Celtic showed significant interest in acquiring him, while clubs like Everton, Club Bruges, and Eintracht Frankfurt have also targeted the striker.
Nonetheless, it’s reported that Melia has consistently preferred a move to Spurs, potentially making him the first million-pound player from Ireland.
Last season, the young striker scored six goals in 31 league matches for St Pat’s.
