Located by Lake Como, the stadium offers stunning views for both home and visiting fans.

As Como competes in Serie A, efforts are underway to transform it into one of the premier stadiums in the region.

Managed by the legendary Arsenal and Chelsea star Fabregas.

Currently, Como sits in 15th place, just two points clear of the relegation zone.

Since their promotion from Serie B last year, the stadium’s capacity has been increased from 7,798 to 10,584 seats.

Now, the club has announced a comprehensive plan to enhance their home ground even further.

The three-phase project is anticipated to commence in May 2026, with the first phase to be completed by October 2027.

The second phase will extend until August 2028.

Como president Mirwan Suwarso stated: “Our goal is to ensure the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia remains a crucial part of the community.

“The new initiative must respect the legacy of the Giuseppe Sinigaglia stadium while transforming it into a vibrant and accessible venue for all citizens and visitors — not just for football, but for everyone to enjoy throughout the year.”

Alessandro Rapinese, the Mayor of Como, commented: “This marks the initial stage of the project.

“This stadium is designed not just for football, but as a gift for the entire community.

“I eagerly anticipate the various phases and look forward to enjoying Como’s matches in the new stadium.”
