After struggling to make an impact during two-and-a-half years at Manchester United following his £86 million transfer from Ajax, Antony has rediscovered his form at Real.
The 25-year-old has netted four goals and provided four assists in just 12 appearances.
His performances have been met with considerable acclaim.
However, it was post-match following a 2-1 victory against Sevilla, securing the Seville derby for his team, that Antony’s actions drew significant attention.
As fans remained in the Villamarin Stadium to celebrate their sixth consecutive La Liga victory, Antony was spotted enthusiastically waving the club’s flag.
The winger had removed his shirt while doing so.
He was later hoisted onto the shoulders of goalkeeper Adrian, who joined the squad as a free agent from Liverpool last summer.
Post-match, Antony’s teammate Isco expressed the need for the club to do everything possible to secure his signature and humorously suggested they consider “crowdfunding”.

The former Real Madrid star remarked: “We need to crowdfund or something so that Antony can stay for at least one more year.
“His humility has truly amazed us.”
Fans responding to Antony’s shirtless celebration on social media expressed sentiments such as: “I’m in tears with Antony, this guy… I hope he remains at Betis.”
Another posted: “Just look at how happy Antony is. Leaving United has worked wonders for him.”
A third commenter added: “AURA.”
Additionally, another fan stated: “Such passion could energize the entire stadium!”
Real Betis officials hinted in February that Antony’s loan deal might be extended beyond this summer.

Although there is no transfer clause in the arrangement that brought Antony to Spain, the club is contributing a part of his £105,000 weekly salary.
Nonetheless, sporting director Manu Fajardo has indicated the necessity for the club to secure a Champions League spot to financially accommodate Antony’s signing.
He commented: “At Betis’ sporting department, we focus on ‘devalued’ players, analyzing data from those who’ve previously reached high performance peaks but have seen considerable declines.
“We have concerns about their situations and maintain conversations with major clubs. In Antony’s case, we managed to get ahead and persuade the player and his camp.
“Currently, Antony is delivering results immediately from the first moment he steps onto the pitch.”
“We remain hopeful and cannot rule anything out in football; let’s hope Real Betis competes at the top European level to facilitate his continued presence and the introduction of other esteemed players.”
The team is currently positioned sixth in La Liga, just six points shy of a top-four finish.
