They will aim to end a 20-year wait since their last title in 2005, hoping to overcome the disappointment of last year’s narrow loss in the final.

On the other hand, Tipperary reached the final for the first time since 2019, defeating Kilkenny 0-30 to 4-20 in the semi-finals.

In that 2019 final, Tipp ironically claimed victory against Kilkenny, marking their 28th All-Ireland championship title.

Currently, Cork holds the advantage, having bested Tipperary in two of their three encounters this season.

What has been said?

Before the semi-final victory over Dublin, Cork manager Pat Ryan expressed his disapproval of late changes, implying he is likely to stick to his lineup.

Ryan stated: “I believe it’s unfair to the players.”

“While you can discuss the depth of the panel and the confidence in each player, pretending one player is starting over another creates confusion.

“A player might go home believing they’re starting, which makes it difficult for them to perform off the bench.”

“That’s just my philosophy; it’s never been my way, and if I started doing that now, it would feel out of character.” In any case, Cork’s main squad is well known, and their opponents often struggle to contain them.
