This bout marks his 73rd professional fight, and if successful, Pacquiao could make history as the oldest welterweight champion ever.

The announcement of the fight was made on May 21, surprising fans as PacMan revealed his return from retirement.

However, Pacquiao will face a formidable challenge in current champion Mario Barrios.

At 30 years old, Barrios is in his prime and is favored to win this match-up.

Not only is Barrios 16 years younger than Pacquiao, but he also boasts a significant height advantage, standing at 6 feet tall compared to Pacquiao’s 5 feet 5 inches, a difference that was evident during their press conference on June 3.
