David Beckham Displays His True Colors with Witty Response to Arsenal Fan Son Romeo Before Man Utd Showdown
DAVID BECKHAM had a fierce response to his son, Romeo, prior to Arsenal’s showdown with Manchester United.
The iconic Red Devils player David Beckham is well-acquainted with the rivalry against Arsenal, having been a prominent figure in the encounters until his transfer to Real Madrid in 2003.
Now, the 49-year-old must navigate the rivalry at home, as his second eldest son, Romeo, is a devoted Gunners fan.
With United heading to the Emirates for their season’s first encounter, Romeo took to Instagram to stir the excitement before the match.
He posted a selfie with the caption: “Big game in the old Beckham household today @davidbeckham. COYG.”
However, Inter Miami owner Beckham was not holding back and shot back with a fierce response.
Quoting Romeo’s story on Instagram, he said: “Big game for you lot.
“Just another game for us.”
Beckham shared a memory of a weekend when Romeo wanted to catch a match, coincidentally featuring Arsenal.
On that occasion, he was treated kindly by then-Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, who took him into the locker room to meet the players and gifted him a signed shirt.

Since then, Beckham has struggled to convince his son to return to supporting his former club.
He mentioned to Rio Ferdinand Presents: “It was done!
“I’ve attempted to change his mind since, but it’s been impossible.”
This match marks the beginning of an extraordinary 13-game stretch for Arsenal, where they will only travel 250 miles across all competitions.
A victory for Mikel Arteta‘s team could see them close the gap to six points from Liverpool if the league leaders falter against Newcastle.
Meanwhile, a win for Ruben Amorim‘s side would see them come within three points of Arsenal.
