SIXMILEBRIDGE (12.25 Leicester, nap)
He showed promise at the bumper level, winning on his first outing at Sandown before facing a tough challenge at the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham. Now with Fergal O’Brien, he stepped up to hurdles this season and was a close contender at Stratford on debut. The way he fought back after being passed is a good indication, and he can progress further with that experience.
SUNRAY SHADOW (1.15 Market Rasen, nb)
This bumper winner has adapted well to hurdles. After a narrow defeat in a close finish at Warwick on his first attempt, he relished the longer trip, scoring comfortably at Aintree last time out. There’s still a lot more potential to show.
SUNNINGHILL (2.05 Wincanton, treble)
He performed well to finish second on his handicap hurdle debut at Exeter 27 days ago. He showed resilience going up the challenging hill and only needs a little more to secure his first win.
PLAGE DE HAVRE (4.40 Chelmsford, Lucky 15)
He secured a commendable second place in his all-weather debut at Wolverhampton last month. He was edged out in the final moments by a strong competitor, and replicating that form should be enough to get him his first victory.
