However, Chelsea’s Christopher Nkunku, Noni Madueke, Cole Palmer, and Jadon Sancho each added to the scoreline, ensuring the team secured all three points away from home.

Made an outstanding save within the first two minutes to deny Joe Aribo’s attempt from close range.

Also pulled off another brilliant save in the second half, leading many Chelsea fans to advocate for him to be the club’s primary goalkeeper.

MALO GUSTO – 7

Dominated duels and led in tackles among Chelsea players during the first half, providing a fantastic assist for Sancho’s goal.

AXEL DISASI – 7

Netted the opening goal for Chelsea with a straightforward header from a Fernandez corner.

TOSIN ADARABIOYO – 5

Seemed to lose focus when Southampton equalized, nearly allowing Aribo a clear shot at goal.

MOISES CAICEDO – 7

Delivered some excellent forward passes, highlighted by an outstanding trivela through ball to Felix that nearly resulted in a fantastic team goal.

ENZO FERNANDEZ – 6

Set up Disasi’s initial goal with a perfectly executed corner but was later outmaneuvered by Kyle Walker-Peters in the lead-up to Aribo’s equalizer.

NONI MADUEKE – 7

Made the most of a misplay by Joe Lumley and provided an assist for Nkunku. Scored Chelsea’s third goal with a calm finish into the bottom-left corner.

Had a few opportunities in the second half but was somewhat inefficient with them.

Had a subdued game until he capitalized on Nkunku’s deflected shot to net Chelsea’s fourth goal, only to be substituted immediately after scoring.

JOAO FELIX – 6

Showed good energy but squandered a golden chance just before halftime and missed an easy header shortly after the break.

CHRISTOPHER NKUNKU – 7

Gave Chelsea a 2-1 lead with a straightforward finish in the first 20 minutes but was generally quiet afterward.
