Lammens, who is 23 years old, joined United for a fee of £18.5 million, plus £3.5 million in potential add-ons.

The uncapped goalkeeper has signed a five-year deal with the Red Devils.

However, some fans are expressing regret over United’s choice to sign him instead of Aston Villa’s Emiliano Martinez after viewing some of his low-lights.

A video featuring Lammens’ performances at Antwerp has gained traction on X, highlighting several instances where he failed to stop goals.

Another video shows Lammens failing to dive for a low shot that passed very close to him.

In response to the clips, United fans are reacting with alarm regarding the club’s future.

Another added: “This player is Onana pro max.”

Nevertheless, some fans have maintained composure, pointing out that many of the goals featured in the video were not primarily Lammens’ fault.

Up to this point in the season, Lammens has played in four matches without achieving a clean sheet.

Meanwhile, several United fans experienced a moment of panic upon seeing the goalkeeper’s agent at his signing.

Many found themselves verifying it was not former manager Erik ten Hag.
