Beloved Pirates kid announced in Cape Town

Any Orlando Pirates fans that enjoy the DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) know Boitumelo Radiopane quite well. The exciting forward has moved to Cape Town Spurs.

CAPE TOWN SPURS SIGN ORLANDO PIRATES YOUNGSTER

Following a bright season as the DDC Player of the Season, Radiopane, affectionately known as “Radioman”, was expected to get promoted to the Sea Robbers senior side but has instead moved to Spurs on loan.

The 19-year-old Sebokeng-born attacker was announced by the Urban Warriors on Tuesday via social media.

“The Buccaneer lands in Cape Town! ☠️❤️‍🔥. Welcome, Boitumelo Radiopane,” Spurs confirmed.

PIRATES RECALL TWO PLAYERS FROM LOAN

While Orlando Pirates have five new confirmed signings, but there are also two other players returning on loan. They’ll obviously have the full effect of new signings too.

the club’s website has revealed the inclusion of two new players who spent last season away on loan.

The duo includes Sandile Mthethwa and Monnapule Saleng, while Azola Matrose was signed and immediately loaned to Chippa United.

Jose Riveiro’s new Orlando Pirates team will kick-off the new season at home to Swallows FC on Saturday 6 August.

The game will begin at 15:00 from the Orlando Stadium.
